Nonsensical Silliness
Apparently, my genius masterpiece that was last week's post was grossly misunderstood. And since, "The best writers understand their audiences," someone important probably once said, (and because I have no clue why everyone is so confused), I have decided to hold another one of my (in)famous polls.
I am a hudiintheholyland reader and
a) I was not confused by Hudi's post last week at all. It was very clear to me that she leaned on her keyboard (while reaching over to silence her ringing phone without checking to see who it was) and accidentally changed the colors and fonts on her blog post. Besides for that, it was a normal post.
b) I was very confused by Hudi's post last week, but I usually am, as I cannot read.
c) I was not confused by Hudi's post last week, as I am fully aware of Hudi's EOOPS(pronounced oops; the 'e' is silent) and mono.
d) I was not confused by Hudi's blog post, because it CLEARLY SHOWED IN THE TOP LEFT HAND CORNER OF THE PAGE THE CROSSED OUT DATE FROM LAST YEAR AND THE NEW DATE OF THIS YEAR AND I therefore used my deductive reasoning to assume that Hudicus, in her infinite geniusness, decided to use the same post she did last year, while crossing off everything that was no longer relevant to her life this year and highlighting everything that has remained the same. I also assumed that Hudi wanted to subtly reference the completion of one year of nonsensical silliness by refencing her first post, one year ago.
e) I was confused by Hudi's blog post because I don't know who Hudi is. I found this blog a couple months ago and have continued to read about the ongoings of this troubled young adult...
In other news, Shabbos was super nice. I was at the Steinsies. I don't understand why they want me to keep coming back, but I'm not complaining. With many jokes, laughter, delicious food, learning, What If questions, discussing my apparently confusing last blog post, and breaking my fidgeting toy, Shabbos was so many nices. Always enjoy the Steinsies!
And now we are well into the Holiday of Happiness. First days of Yom Tov, I was in Qiryat Sefer with my cousins, the Fogels. There was lots of singing, amazing food, divrei Toirah, speaking Hebrew in a very American accent, trying and failing to say the 'raish', and just hanging out with the fam jam.
I also got to see Shloims on Yom Tov, which was super cute.
And on Tuesday, I tagged along with the Fogels to get a tour of the fire station. It was all in Hebrew, and I didn't understand a word, but it was really cool to see the fire trucks and ladders. I know, I know, it was meant for the five and seven-year-old boys, but the adults ended up having more fun that they did.
And then it was Chol Hamoed, which was lovely. I went to the Kois, which was packed beyond belief, walked around and saw all the sukkahs, hung out with friends in Shana Aleph's brother's sukkah, played a mean game of anagrams, and just enjoyed the time off from school and the time on for simcha.
And now, it is Erev Shabbos, and I have to pack and leave soon because the buses stop so many earlies now, and I'm yekke and I have to be there like 30 minutes before the bus says it's coming.
Toodles from Hoodles!
