Library Lady
It's Tuesday again: my least favorite day this semester.
I got so many sleeps last night, and yet I'm still so tired. It must be my mono. I'm telling you, the mono is real, people. The mono is real.
Last week seems like a lifetime ago, mainly because I don't remember much of what happened.
I am deeply sorry for not posting a blog post last week. I lost much sleep over the decision. If any of you are angry or upset or disappointed, I will first tell you to get a life, and quickly. I will also give the option for you, reader, to write a blog post one week. I think any of you lovely people would do a great job.
And now, for the segment you have all been waiting for...drum roll please..... Nerdy News:
Reporter: "Hudi, what did you do today that is Nerdy Newsworthy?"
Hudi: "Um, breathed."
Reporter: "Yes, yes. We all know that you breathing is super nerdy. We want something else, something better."
Hudi: "I got kicked out of the library last week."
Reporter: "Well, now, this sounds interesting. Please continue."
Hudi: "It wasn't really my fault. Two of my friends and I just wanted to study in peace, so we went to the library. How were we supposed to know that the one place they actually care about masks was the library?"
Reporter: "You got kicked out because you weren't wearing masks? Scandalous!"
Hudi: "Nope. We did put on masks. We were sitting in one of the private rooms, wearing masks, and not just on our chins. Over our noses and mouths, too. And then the library lady came over. She told us that three or more people couldn't be together without social distancing. One of my friends told her that we live together, which wasn't even a lie. We do live together. And you can't get coroina from people whom you live with. But then the lady said nu uh. Just like that. Nu uh."
Reporter (skeptically raising an eyebrow): "That's how she said it?"
Hudi (sheepishly): "I guess not. It was more of a, 'Oh, you idiotic Americans. Don't you know the law by now? How long have you been in Israel? This is the law. Has been for awhile. And that's that.' Yeah, more like that, I guess. I was tempted to ask her how we were allowed to have class then with more than three people, but I decided that I like my head right where it is and not on the ground."
Reporter: "Well, that certainly is Nerdy. We are so proud of you, Hudi."
Thank you all for listening to my Nerdy News. Hope you enjoyed this new segment in my ridiculous blog.
In other news, I've started taking Krav Maga lessons. No, not so I can go teach the library lady a lesson. Simply because my friend, Faeven, is super cool and knows super cool people and got us free Krav Maga lessons. And also, Krav Maga is so many funs.
So, we all had a great time punching and kicking and blocking.
I spent Shabbos in RBS with my amazing cousins. It was a great Shabbos, surrounded by awesome people and delicious food and beautiful singing. I'm so lucky to have such great family here.
Last night, I got a Shein shopping tutorial from Adeeeeena. Look at your baby all grown up and...and...shopping online by herself. So impressed with myself.
One of my friends from America is here in Israel, and she visited me yesterday, which was so many cutes and funs.
I honestly can't think of much else. Oh, well. It happens when one's brain is so full of math and computers that she can't think of anything but constructors and limits and ALUs. Nu, that's life.
Hope you all enjoyed. And if not, you're wrong. Bye, lovely peoples.
Toodles from Hoodles!
