Prenatal Vitamins

Well, hello there, all of you wonderful persons who don't mind losing a few brain cells each week. Just know, however many you lose by reading this, I lose twice as much writing it. So never fear. Just look how normal I've stayed. He he he.  Though, in all honesty, I think that I have mellowed in my old age.

A very exciting occurrence will happen on Shabbos: I will be odd again! 'Twill be a most wonderful feeling to be odd again. Haven't been odd for a whole year. So that's something to look forward to.

I went to the koisel recently, and it was empty. Walking through the old city was a little scary, because it was only myself and one other person. And it wasn't even such a cold night. It was quite nice to be there with very few other people. I could concentrate much better.

This past Shabbos, I was in Ramois with my cousins, the Safers. One of their sons just had a baby girl a month ago, and he and his wife came for Shabbos. So I got to hold a cute little baby all of Shabbos. I also read some great books. I read the book called Skullcaps 'N Switchblades, which is about a Chabad guy who teaches in an inner-city school. It was hysterical. Also The Pomegranate Pendant, which is a historical novel about Yemenites.

So, Shabbos was beautiful, as usual. Loved spending time with my cousins. I wish Shabbos were more than once a week. The week is so many longs. Five days of straight school is just too much.

Other great news: I finally bought new multivitamins. The only problem was all of the labels are in Hebrew; I hope I read the Hebrew words correctly. I might be taking prenatal vitamins. Oh, well.

I also went shopping recently. Bought some great foody food. One of these days, I will write an entire blog post without mentioning the word food. Maybe. Probably not, though. Food is a big part of my life.

My roommate, Tzivie, came back from the Americas! She decided that she could no longer bear to be apart from yours truly. I'm so many happies that she is back. We are now a full apartment again.

In fact, we even had a whole official apartment meeting about how we're sometimes slobs and need to be better about keeping our kitchen great again. So, now I have to actually do the dishes and take out the garbage. It's so annoying to be adultish.

Today was the fastest of the fasts. It ended right after 5:00. I listened to some shiurim, slept in, and read some books. A pretty easy fast, Baruch Hashem.

Wow, I am having a bit of writer's block at this moment. Or my life is just not that interesting. Either way, I'm having a bit of trouble thinking of things to write. It could also be my mono. (I just have to add that into every post.)

So, I believe this is all for today. Sorry for the shortness and the not-so-funnyness of it. I hope you all can forgive me.

Hope you all have an easy and meaningful fast.

Toodles from Hoodles!
